Introduction to the Derwent Bowmen Beginners Course

Derwent Bowmen are running a beginners’ course on 4 Sundays

• Sunday 12th March 2023 (9:30 – 12:30)
• Sunday 19th March 2023 (9:30 – 12:30)
• Sunday 26th March 2023 (9:30 – 12:30)
• Sunday 2nd April 2023 (9:30 – 12:30)

The cost is £80 per person.

Juniors, from the age of 8, are welcome and pay the same.

Completing this 12 hours course will give you a certificate which says that you have been trained in the basics of shooting and, more importantly, range safety and etiquette.

Once you have a beginner’s certificate, you can join any archery club and start shooting.

Derwent Bowmen Archery Club are based at Darley Bridge, near Matlock, and we have an indoor range and an outdoor target range. The course will start indoors and hopefully, depending on the weather, will continue outdoors.
